Trail Running in The Alps – 15km, Fasted

A 20hr water fast: 8km hike (with the dogs), 40mins kettlebell workout followed by 15km of Alpine trail running. Whoever said breakfast was the most important meal of the day didn’t have your health in mind…they must have been more concerned thinking about bank balances and shareholders 😜

Broke my fast after 20hrs with a Super Greens Shake – check the HERE for the recipe – although I added a ladle full of homemade turmeric spiced bone broth for some much needed extra protein, collagen and inflammatory reducing antioxidants – in fact my super greens shake has 5 out of the 12 listed in the link above
